Learn more about the opportunities for enjoying sport at The Heatons. Formed through the merger in 2005 of Heaton Mersey Cricket, Tennis & Lacrosse Club and Heaton Moor RUFC, the club is a thriving sports community.

Heaton Mersey Cricket Club is a member of the Cheshire County League and runs senior 1st, 2nd and 3rd XI's as well as providing junior coaching and teams from Under 9 to Under 18. In 2005 the club’s Under 15 team were North of England champions.

Heaton Mersey Tennis Club: The impressive new four floodlit artificial grass courts offer a full year round Tennis facility. We have introduced a programme for juniors and seniors alike and for the novice or experienced player and we are actively looking for new members to join so please use the contacts listed on our website if you are interested in playing tennis at the club.

Heaton Mersey Lacrosse Club 1st team play in the North of England Men’s Premier League and were Flags winners in 2006. The club also fields three other men’s senior teams as well as ladies and junior teams. The club has a fine track record of producing talented players and three former juniors have been selected for the England Men’s squad for the 2006 World Championships in Canada.

Heaton Moor RUFC welcomes new players, male and female, regardless of age, to join its teams: Mini and Junior Section, Ladies, Vets, 3rds, 2nds and 1st XV’s. We offer the highest level of Junior Rugby in South Manchester. Heaton Moor is a club with drive and ambition - we are re-developing the club beyond recognition and look forward to meeting like-minded people and players to take us one further rung up the ladder.
