Commercial Update for the Heatons
Welcome to the first issue of what will be a regular ‘newsletter’, hopefully of interest to all the Members, Sponsors, Business Partners at The Heatons.
Background
In September I was delighted to be asked to advise on and implement a ‘Commercial Strategy’ for the Club with the initial aims being: To raise the Club profile To attract sponsors, business partners and advertisers at all levels across all sports To increase use of the Clubhouse daytime and evening.
Progress to date
Current suppliers have been contacted regarding sponsorship ranging from ground advertising boards to kit sponsorship and other initiatives. Local schools, Charities, Event and Conference organisers have been circulated with full details to encourage Clubhouse use during the day. The various websites have been evaluated with some recommendations made as to how they may be used in the future as a marketing tool. Within the next week, all businesses in the local area will be visited to promote the club and encourage sponsorship support. Sponsorship and Function / Room Hire prices have been agreed and can be obtained from Elana and Kerry at any time.
